My name is Trudy Stoelting.

I worked in a 9-to-5 job for much of my adult life. Like many of you, I know what it is was like to have someone control my working hours, my annual vacation time, how much they felt I was worth in pay, and controlling any promotion I may have earned.

I remember well having to almost beg for time off when one of my sons was receiving top awards at school and I wanted to be there for him. I personally was passed up for promotion because they wanted a "man" for the job and I wasn't the right gender. I t was a crushing blow. When my friend approached me with Network Marketing, I wasn't really interested. She explained that all of us do free advertising every day. We tell someone about a great restaurant or a good movie, but we don't get compensated for doing that advertising.

She finally caught my attention when she told me that you can be your own boss, set your own hours, that no matter what your age gender colour or background, if you work hard you get paid fairly. You get compensated for what you do, not who you are or what someone else thinks you are worth. You get to be your own boss with a whole team of experts working with you. You are in business for yourself, but not by yourself. With a minimum investment, no employees, no overhead, and the best part is that your sponsor helps you earn while you learn.

Having a team encouraging you to learn, at your own pace, cheering you on when you do something right and applauding your success is a real eye-opener. No more performance appraisals that gave comments like "You are unseemingly happy"... as if being happy was a sin on the job.

Now I have the freedom to be as happy as I want, that is really what this business is all about... Freedom.
